Summer scorcher
Today is the first day of Rory and Mac's pre-school being 'out' for summer. The weather is beautiful today - it is supposed to get to 85 degrees! Having said all that it could snow tomorrow - you just can't tell in these parts. But after a Drs appt this morning and dropping Bee off to school, we had no deadlines. We could just drop whatever we were doing - go whereever we wanted to. I LOVE that about the summer...compared to our normal hectic routine....the days become our own....
The kids all played pretty well in the garden yesterday - Bee has a new game called 'stunt' where bascially she bribes Paddy to lie down near the swings and she gets high enough to then jump OVER him. Rather him than me. I managed to get a lot done in the garden - can see real progress. Alas despite having sunscreened all the kids....I forgot to keep doing it on myself. Should know better. Getting no sympathy from hubby - well there's a surprise. Really sore today though - so much so that I am going to need to stay out of the sun - even with a t-shirt on I can feel the heat of it. Here is the evidence.....
And before ANY of you start.....yes, Shortarse ALWAYS walks around topless at 7.12am.
