Odd?
One person's odd is another person's norm. A lot of conversations between hubby and I are about his parents and he will start off by saying 'I know you'll think this odd but..........'
So here are 37 odd facts you probably didn't know about mumof4 (cos I am 37)
Please let me know, which (if any) you find the oddest about me.
1. I get way more excited about a new lipstick than a new car.
2. I have a very colourful house but sometimes toy with the idea of painting absolutely everything white.
3. I arrange my books in alphabetical order
4. I always have to burn the wick of a candle in my house - even if they are not ones I regularly use.
5. If driving conditions are bad here (snow and ice) I make an extra effort to have matching underwear in case I get ini a crash...ambulance etc.
6. I colour co ordinate my tissue boxes to the various rooms they are in.
7. The same goes for soap and bathrooms.
8. I never look at my wedding album. Nor the video.
9. I do the majority of my Christmas shopping in the summer.
10. I would rather starve than eat anything with nuts.
11. I never use the term 'Mrs' for myself. Never ever.
12. I only get to the very bottom of my ironing basket about 4 times a year.
13. I am terrible at holding a grudge.
14. I have over 70 pairs of shoes.
15. I give things to the charity shop about once a week.
16. I could live off desserts if I had a choice.
17. I am really bad at keeping my cell phone charged.
18. I sometimes eat in a restaurant all by myself - it must look lonely but I love the peace and quiet and a chance to people watch.
19. I rarely wear my wedding rings.
20. I have never run out of petrol - I am quite paranoid about it.
21. I still have a UK bank account in just my name.
22. I donate money to charities (anonymously) on a regular basis.
23. I am really good at making meringues to say I am naff at cooking in general.
24. I often buy myself flowers - just because
25. I am quite neurotic about ironing - hence always having a full ironing basket.
26. I do not care if I am cremated or buried.
27. I get excited about hand written letters and stare at the envelope for ages before I open them (drives hubby mad).
28. My brother in law is one of my closest confidents.
29. I actually quite like to clean out my fridge - but not my freezer.
30. I kiss and hug my kids all day - as I never had it at all.
31. I have never had acrylic nails.
32. I have opted to donate all my organs.
33. I could vacuum my house all day. I find it theraputic.
34. I never expected to live til 37.
35. I never had a pedicure until I was 27.
36. I often hide chocolate and then only find it when it is out of date
37. A thunderstorm always makes me think about sex. I have no idea why. Well non that I am sharing.

2 - I'm exactly the same. Except I know I'm not tidy enough.
3 - I find this odd. I go by size but the same author's books get put together even if that messes up the size thing.
6 - I do the same too. Never occurred to me that might be considered odd,
8 - no nor me, Though it might be because I look utterly hideous.

36 - I often hide it too. But I never lose it!

There's hope for me with #35 then! I'm 27 and have never had one :)
3. My books are all over the place but my CDs are alphabetical. All 900 of , them.
4, 6 & 7. Yes me too.
8. I ceremonially burned my first one, never look at the second.
16. Hell yes. Chocolate brownie and ice cream all the way.
19. Yep. Playschool think I'm an unmarried mother, I'm sure of it.
23. I'm the other way round.
24. Yes me too - because I'm unlikely to get any otherwise.
31. I've had them a lot, but always remove them after several days. Cost me a darn fortune but my nails just don't grow. And I'm so used to them being short I can't get on with them when they're long (hence the ripping them off).

37. I always hide under the duvet in thunderstorms, but that's cos they scare me.
