Boots
When we were clambering about for snowboots, Paddy found his Uggs. Uggs seem ridiculously expensive for kids (IMO) but for Paddy they just work so much better than regular snowboots. They were really too small from last year but he still wanted to wear them, didn't moan and just put them on. So yesterday I caved and went to Nordstroms to get some new ones for him. Last years were size 2, now he is in size 4. Thought his bigger feet may have meant that he could wear 'regular' (not $100) snowboots so I got some of those too - with the idea that he would pick just one pair and return the others......
So he picked the Uggs. Blundered about in them inside the house all night as he was so thrilled with them.
Off he went to bed. Didn't realise he was actually going to SLEEP in them though!!!!!
As much as I know they are v v comfy, I am not sure I would be able to wear them as I never wear socks and not sure I could have sheepskin on my feet so much.
So for now my kid has the nice boots and I have the cheaper ones.
(PS I only justify spending this much on his boots as I know they'll be handed down twice).
