Another year
Yesterday I turned 38 years old. Thank you so much to everyone who sent me Facebook messages, gorgeous e-mails and blogged/twittered me good wishes. All very much appreciated. Apart from the flurry of cyber love there was little different about my birthday day. No lie in..... making breakfast, lunch etc. I spent the day with (some of) those I love... and we just had a lovely family day. Didn't do any laundry at all (there's a birthday treat) - but now there is twice as much awaiting me....ah well.
Also spent part of the day channelling bad vibes to the cow other mummy who had asked me on Saturday, which side of 40 I was going to be on. Didn't see her at school today - so you never know.
After dinner a chocolate cake was produced, along with presents....
and some cards etc.

Then once the kids were in bed I went off to the movies....and saw "I've loved you for so long" (very very appropriate). I half read the sub titles, half just listened. Kristen Scott Thomas is brilliant - it is a deep, hard to watch film in places but very worth seeing......
Then I came home and found newish laptop not playing ball. Still isn't so may have to pick the brains of SubMum... before I get in touch with Dell.
Right now off to attack laundry with a fresh 38 year old approach......
