If my dad got his hands on your garden, you wouldn't be able to see any mulch, he'd fill it totally with plants. He doesn't believe you should see brown between plants!
Mind you, yesterday when I said I wanted an acacia like his, he said he didn't think it would grow in Manchester as it's too cold up here. Only 2 or so degrees less!!! He thinks I live in the Arctic Circle.
